Wabi Tabi

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

The short version

Wabi Tabi collects nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics, no trackers, and the app makes no network connections of its own. Everything you record stays on your device.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We have no servers and the app has no networking, so your data never leaves your device through Wabi Tabi.

Your data stays on your device

The travel information you create — visited prefectures and cities, trips, dates, your language and appearance settings, and the count of any “treats” you leave in the tip jar — is stored locally on your device by the operating system. We cannot see it.

You stay in control of it:

Photos

When you create a postcard, you choose a photo with the system photo picker. That photo is used only on your device to render the card you're making — it is never uploaded anywhere (the app has no network). If you choose to save a finished card to your photo library, the app asks permission at that moment and saves only the image you created.

Purchases

The optional one-time Pro unlock and the tip-jar “treats” are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never receive your payment details or any information that identifies you. The tip-jar “counts” shown in the app are simply numbers stored on your device — not money, and not tied to your identity.

Third parties

None. Wabi Tabi contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

Children's privacy

Because the app collects no data at all, it is safe for users of all ages. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Because the app collects no data, we don't expect material changes.
